About the event
You are invited to participate in the next clean-up day at Zuber Cemetery on Willow Road, Shannon, GA at 9am. We will again focus on picking of fallen limbs, cutting back overgrowth and clearing debris from the historic cemetery grounds. We had a tremendous turnout for the Plaque Installation and cleaning in August of last year, which was followed by family visits to the site, and additional clean-up days by Berry College students. Berry students will again be here to help with the clean-up. We would especially like to reach out to Dozier, Bell, Zuber and Watters families, and others who have kin laid to rest in these grounds, to participate; however, everyone is welcomed to help us secure and preserve this sacred ground.
